About DaycareIn
DaycareIn is a free directory that helps families find day care providers.
What we list
We cover two kinds of care. Adult day care — daytime programs for older adults and adults living with disabilities — is listed across all 50 states. Infant day care covers babies and very young children; those listings are currently concentrated in Texas, California, Oklahoma and Arkansas, so that part of the directory is not yet nationwide.
Where the information comes from
Listings are compiled from public records and from information submitted by providers and visitors. We are not a licensing body and we do not inspect, endorse or rank providers.
Directory details may have changed since they were recorded. Opening hours, telephone numbers, services, capacity and licensing status can all change without us hearing about it. Always confirm current details directly with a provider, and check licensing status with the relevant state agency, before making arrangements.
Correcting a listing
If something is wrong, tell us. Open the provider's page and use the correction link on it, or contact us with the details. Corrections are reviewed before they go live. Providers can also add a listing that is missing.
