From its small but humble beginning in 1956, the Porterville Sheltered Workshop has developed into what it is today through the hard work and dedication of our staff and our community. Porterville Sheltered Workshop provides services to over 600 adults with developmental disabilities in Southern Tulare County in over ten different departments and at five different facilities. Behavior Modification Program Goal: To assist disabled individuals to the fullest extent possible in decreasing inappropriate behavior so that they can reach a level of self-responsibility which will allow them to integrate successfully into the community.
