About ADULT ACTIVITIES CENTER
The issues of life quality are important for all individuals regardless of ability or disability. The quality is based upon the values we hold for ourselves and others and the degree to which those values are supported in day-to-day living. A person must have the opportunity to make personal choices in their everyday life in order to remain independent and have a feeling of self-worth. The focus of our program is to assist disabled adults reaching and/or maintaining levels of independence, productivity and social integration. Adult/Community Education's Adult Activities Center feels that providing access to life-long learning opportunities, keeping in mind that the activities are appropriate to the person's stage of life, is the necessary key to accomplishing these objectives
