Lutheran Social Services offers Adult Day programs in eight locations – five in the southeast portion of the state, two in the Fox Valley area, and one in the northeast portion of the state. The programs are designed to serve physically and/or cognitively challenged adults and their caregivers. Adult Day programs provide much needed respite for caregivers and allow individuals who might otherwise be placed in residential or institutional settings remain at home. These programs emphasize supervised group activities, socialization with peers, a healthy meal, health monitoring, and assistance with activities of daily living (eating and bathing).
