About CITIZENS DEVELOPMENT CENTER
Citizens Development Center (CDC) is a 501 (c) (3) non-profit work training center and employment placement organization for adults with intellectual, mental health and/or physical disabilities (clients) living in Dallas and surrounding areas. Serving more than 400 individuals annually, our Work Center Program and Employment Placement Program are administered at our 30,000 square-foot facility on Ambassador Row in Dallas, Texas. You can read more about each program below. Citizens Development Center is proud to offer invaluable services to adults with disabilities from our community and their caregivers/families. Our clients cherish the opportunity to gain purpose and dignity through employment and take great pride in the work performed, the money they earn and the skill they develop. The mission of Citizens Development Center is to empower men and women with disabilities to achieve their highest level of independence and employment.
