Structured Day Program - In addition to its foster home services TBI also operates a Day Program facility that provides focused educational rehabilitation. In addition to the opportunity to socialize with their peers, participants receive rehabilitation in the core areas of anger management, health awareness, orientation, cognitive and vocational rehabilitation, budgeting skills and independent living skills. In addition to these core areas participants are offered expanded educational opportunities including classes on writing skills, scrap booking, the Spanish language, acting, geography, music appreciation, dance, horticulture, and even philosophy! The program became licensed by the state of Minnesota in the winter of 2003. The program not only serves our residential clients but also several community members.
