Goodwill Homes Community Services, Inc. is a not-for-profit agency that has served the Memphis community since 1957. This agency serves the total family, answering the community’s needs literally, from birth to old age. Through this procedure, our programs grew as the people’s needs were met. Senior Citizens Center / Adult Day Care Program: Provides activities that focus on preventing institutionalization; Secures and coordinates services for seniors with assistance from volunteers and community agencies; Provides socialization for individuals 55 years and older to alleviate isolation and assist the individual in maintaining self-sufficiency; Provides Adult Day Care for individuals 60 years and above and younger adults with physical, mental or emotional disabilities; Offers outreach services in the community to those who are unable to attend the program on a daily basis due to critical health problems; Low impact exercise by professional fitness trainers, weight room; Ceramics, sewing, crocheting; Nutritious lunches; Transportation to and from the center for Adult Day Care clients, field trips and medical appointments.
