About Avery Adult Day Health Center
The Betty Larus Adult Day Health Care Center at Avery Heights provides an array of health and social services to older adults who don’t require continuous nursing home care, but who do need or would benefit from a structured daytime environment. Participants arrive in the morning, and after a busy day of activities return home in the evening. While caregivers work, run errands or simply have a day to themselves, participants are engaged in a varied program of interesting activities, including arts and crafts, games, gardening and other activities designed to stimulate clearer thinking.
