Cedar Wood Healthcare Community has a long tradition of healthcare, education and services to the Red Lodge area. It began as Carbon County Healthcare Center in 1976 then, Cedar Wood Villa in 1992, and then in December 2012 it became Cedar Wood Healthcare Community. Over the years, the facility has transformed into a progressive skilled nursing facility and rehab facility. Our campus offers a continuum of care including short-term, long-term, adult day care, respite and memory care. We are conveniently located one block off main street in Red Lodge, Montana in the foothills of the beautiful Beartooth Mountains, gateway to one of America's most scenic highways. Our friendly associates are compassionate and understanding to the many different needs of our residents and their family members. here are many features that set Cedar Wood Healthcare Community apart from other facilities. At our community, everything is connected, allowing for easy transition for your ongoing healthcare needs. We offer many services on site for your convenience. Our therapy department (provided by Beartooth Billings Clinic) has a reputation for outstanding advanced services in the areas of physical, occupational and speech therapy. Our short-term care unit specializes in ventilator care and other medically complex conditions, with the goal of rapid recovery and safe transitions. Additionally, we help keep our residents connected to the community with our handicapped-accessible coach. At Cedar Wood Healthcare Community we strive to understand what is important to each individual and go out of our way to make them feel special. Our staff knows that the little things make a difference. Cedar Wood Healthcare Community offers private rooms for our short-term rehab, a 32 "flat screen TV and a private dining room.
