About CLOSER TO HOME
At Closer To Home, we know that social and mental health are just as important as physical health and provide nutrition, cognitive stimulation, and exercise for maintaining mobility for daily social interaction. Based on this knowledge, we have specially tailored our services, our facility, and our staff to provide residents with a comprehensive, holistic approach to care. We are currently licensed for Category A, B, and C residents as well as Adult Day Care. We are a protected setting and are open for Adult Day Care services 5 days a week but can make special accommodations for weekend care. Adult Day Care has emerged as a primary provider of short-term rehabilitation and transitional care services for elders that have recently been hospitalized. Our program offers attendees an opportunity to spend the day out of the house in a safe environment while socializing with peers and maintaining a level of independence. Adult Day Care services also allows caregivers the ability to balance their life’s needs with those of their loved one.
