About Victorian Villa Adult Day Care Program

Victorian Villa Rehabilitation & Living Center provides services to over one hundred of Western Maine 's elderly and disabled citizens. Providing skilled nursing, long term care, residential care and adult day services, Victorian Villa assists many different populations on our campus. Recently contracted with the VA, Veterans are welcome to our facility as well as our Adult Day Services program. We are Medicaid and Medicare certified as well. The Adult Day Services is contracted with the Veteran's Administration as well and provides adult day services for qualified individuals. The program opened in 1995 and was licensed to serve six clients a day. As with most programs, this one too has grown over the years. We now are licensed to serve twelve clients per day. There is a bathroom with a spacious shower and is handicap accessible, allowing us to assist in bathing if needed. The Adult Day Services program has a comfortable space on the second floor with more privacy and their own chair lift to assist those who are unable to climb stairs. A large library of videos and DVD's, wireless internet, cable TV and the very popular Wii are some of the amenities they can still enjoy away from home. The program is our strongest connection to the community as it permits potential nursing or residential care level people to continue to live in the community while receiving additional services. We are proud to say that we have been in business serving our clients for over twelve years now. While other programs in the area have cut back or closed down, we continue to provide services.
