About CENTURA ADULT DAY PROGRAM
Centura Health at Home offers an adult day care program that provides a safe daytime environment for seniors with Alzheimer's or dementia. Senior day care programs also offer temporary relief for senior caregivers who work, need to run errands or want to take a short break from the daily stress of caregiving. Adult day care is one of many types of retirement living services that Centura Senior Services provides accross Colorado. Adult day care programs are available Monday through Friday during business hours. Our Colorado adult day care center at The Gardens at St. Elizabeth provides a secure environment for seniors with Alzheimer's. Designed for people who need care during the day while caregivers work or run errands, senior day care programs provide a nutritious lunch and snacks, plus many activities designed to help participants maintain their highest level of independence. Adult day care programs may provide medication management and personal hygiene services too. Perhaps most important, participants in senior day care programs can socialize with other people like themselves and have fun in a safe and comfortable environment. Centura's adult day care program providesshort-term respite for caregivers who need a break from the daily stress of caregiving. Caregivers can enjoy a break from their responsibilities knowing that our adult day program is providing a safe place during the day for Alzheimer's patients. In addition to senior day care, we provide senior caregiving information, support, and resources.
