About Valley View
Valley View is a senior adult day program with a residential component that serves the Deaf, Deaf/blind community. Located in Media, Delaware County, Valley View accommodates individuals who require and are eligible for nursing home level care. The programs at Valley View are overseen by a Health Care Director trained to address the unique set of challenges and medical needs of the elderly, and nurses are available to administer a significant amount of medical care. The Valley View Program supports independence and promotes dignity for all our residents. Through quality care, communication, and a sense of community, we help individuals maintain their health and safety so that they can age in place. We recognize the importance of the Deaf community and respect and value Deaf culture utilizing staff that are fluent in American Sign Language. Individuals referred to Valley View must be at least 60 years of age and residents of Pennsylvania. They must need nursing facility services and be Deaf, Deaf/blind, or hard of hearing. American Sign Language must be their primary language.
