Are you caring for an aging family member? You can provide all the care and attention your loved one needs, but sometimes it's nice to have a partner to help. Sharing the Caring can help. At Sharing the Caring, we understand that taking care of your aging loved one is something that you take very seriously. We understand that this is not a job to you, but a responsibility – and one you wouldn’t easily hand over to strangers. Sharing the Caring doesn't replace the care you give to your loved one. When you share the task of caring for a family member during the day, you reduce stress and have time to work or tend to other responsibilities while your loved one is safe, nurtured, and enjoying an enriched quality of life. At Sharing the Caring, our clients spend their days in a fun and stimulating environment under the compassionate care of trained staff. The program provides nutritious morning and afternoon snacks, and a hot midday lunch - all with consideration to special dietary needs and freshly prepared onsite. Everyone is gently encouraged to participate in craft projects, baking, exercise, trivia games, and other activities. Quiet areas are available for those needing time for rest. Our goal is to provide structured, stimulating activities in an environment that is comfortable for the client and comforting for the family, with the philosophy that such activities will improve or maintain the client's overall functioning.
