About Athens Community Council on Aging - Winder Adult Day Health
The Athens Community Council on Aging’s Adult Day Service Programs provide quality supportive services for adults with functional impairments in a safe and secure environment. Adult Day Care is designed for individuals who do not require 24-hour institutional care, but are not capable of full-time independent living due to a physical or mental disability. Adult Day Care’s respite program helps alleviate both the physical and emotional stress felt by many family members who care for a loved one on a day-to-day basis. Our program allows the caregiver opportunities to run errands, visit with family and friends or just rest at home.
