About Mosaic Community Services - Adult Medical Day Care
The Medical Day Care program operates in a physically-secured, therapeutic environment that is handicapped accessible. Each client has an individually tailored treatment plan developed to address his/her medical and psychiatric needs. The Medical Day Care program is operated under the direction of a Certified Psychiatric Rehabilitation Practitioner and is staffed by a registered nurse, a medical assistant, an activities coordinator, and other specially trained direct care workers. Mental health services are available through Mosaic’s Behavioral Health Clinics, with staff that includes psychiatrists and clinical social workers. Mosaic’s Medical Day Care program serves adults with chronic mental health issues, brain injuries, or Alzheimer’s disease, who are also experiencing physical health issues such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity, or arthritis.
