About Broadlawn Manor Adult Day Health Program

Broadlawn Manor’s Adult Day Health Program provides a breadth of health and social services to physically, socially and/or mentally impaired individuals who are 30 years of age or older. The program is designed for individuals who will benefit from preventative, diagnostic, therapeutic, rehabilitative or palliative services, but who do not require continual inpatient care. The program’s goal is to improve each individual’s wellbeing and independence in activities of daily living, while offering respite for caretakers. Upon enrollment, each individual receives a comprehensive screening by a physician, nurse and social worker. Included in the screening is an evaluation for the need of ancillary healthcare services, which are provided through the program by experienced dentists, podiatrists, audiologists, optometrists, speech pathologists, psychiatrists and psychologists. Broadlawn Manor’s approach to health and social services centers on the collaboration of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals - each with expertise and special training. The team includes a medical director, nursing staff, social workers, occupational and physical therapists, recreational specialists, dieticians and pharmacists.
