About Glen Cove Adult Day Program

Our Adult Day Program provides a safe and stimulating environment for our community’s frail elderly to socialize and be active among good friends. The program gives a much needed respite and support for their caregivers. Our daily schedule is filled with invigorating and diverse activities, entertainment by guest artists and musicians, gentle exercise, stimulating games and creative projects. An experienced and compassionate staff provides door to door transportation, morning coffee, snacks and conversation, a nutritious lunch, programs to promote health and wellness and services that include social work assessment, case management assistance and referrals. Isolation and loneliness can lead to serious problems for the frail elderly. The encouragement and interaction that we offer helps to keep these special seniors thriving and loving life. Our program also helps to enable people to age at home with a degree of independence and with their dignity intact.
