Located in Nanuet, Adult Day Care of Rockland at the Bobbi Lewis Center offers a social model adult day care program designed to offer respite for caregivers and a friendly, safe environment for seniors. The program provides peace of mind for caregivers while improving the quality of life for participants through recreational and therapeutic activities that encourage mental stimulation and interaction with peers. Program Mission: To provide individuals with needed care, socialization and supervision in a community setting while providing caregivers respite from the demanding responsibilities of care giving. The professional staff is trained in accommodating needs such as Alzheimer's, dementia, visual impairment, physical functioning and other age related frailties. An exceptional staff to participant ratio of 1:6 exceeds that offered by most other programs.
