About Carol Strawn Center - Adult Day Service
Our adult day program serves those who have memory impairment due to Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia and who require supervision and assistance with personal care needs during the day. Many of our participants also have other medical conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure and heart conditions. Some use a wheelchair, cane or walker to assist them with their mobility. As Licking County’s only dementia-specific adult day center, we acknowledge that people with memory impairment disorders have unique care needs. Our Center located in a former family home, offers a safe, familiar setting that is reassuring for those who have memory impairment. Our carefully planned group and one-to-one activities are designed to be enjoyable while stimulating cognitive functions, encouraging use of physical abilities and promoting a sense of belonging through new friendships.
