About Gentog Adult Day Care Center

Gentog offers Senior Daycare Services to assist in caring for elderly parents, spouses and loved ones. Our adult day care services are ideal for situations where the elderly are unable to be left home alone during the day. People with Alzheimer's Disease and other forms of dementia are welcome. We offer elder care services and assistance with daily needs such as nutrition, medication monitoring and personal hygiene (including incontinence assistance), along with emotional support from a caring staff. Gentog understands that care for seniors is about much more than providing a safe and caring environment. We provide many opportunities for social interactions with other seniors, with our staff and especially with the children that are cared for in our child care center. Our senior services include activities such as reading, games, craft activities, music and more. Seniors in intergenerational programs not only receive care, but they have a sense of giving back as they share their days with and have an opportunity to nurture children. Gentog's Adult Day Care Center includes a large community room for seniors only, a sitting room that overlooks the children's play area and a quiet library. Seniors can enjoy indoor gardening in our solarium, a nap in our sitting room, or visiting with friends in the sitting room. Up for a game of canasta? You'll find someone eager to play. Interested in using a computer to keep up with the kids on Facebook? We have one in the sitting room for you to enjoy. Two or three times a day our "Grandmas and Grandpas" enjoy visiting with the children in our family room. Days begin and end in our family room area where we can connect with the many families coming and going. Seniors can enjoy coffee, food and company in our cafe that overlooks the family room.
