Adult Day Services at Gateway Family House provide an environment that allows families to feel secure in the knowledge that their loved ones are safe and cared for in their absence. Gateway Retirement Community’s Adult Day Service offers primary caregivers a reprieve or perhaps the opportunity to continue in the work force while their loved ones are given companionship and meaningful activities that address their mental, spiritual, physical and emotional well being. Amenities for those receiving Adult Day Service include companionship/supervision, snacks, lunch, recreation, exercise, as well as medication administration, health screening, medical and social evaluation, group and individual activities, counseling, and appropriate referrals when needed. Adult Day Services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and are charged by the hour.
