It is estimated that due to caregiving responsibilities, a typical caregiver's total retirement funds are reduced by $303,880. Easter Seals Southeast Wisconsin Adult Day Service Centers improve the overall quality of life and financial stability of families and caregivers of adults with chronic illnesses or disabilities by allowing caregivers to earn a living while their loved one develops new skills, has increased relationships and their overall health needs are met. Our Adult Day Service Centers promote health, happiness, independence and safety by providing individuals increased opportunities for access, inclusion and choice. Every day is filled with new and exciting opportunities for our participants! Our Adult Day Service Centers support adults with disabilities, their families and caregivers with respite, and access to community resources. Our person-centered approach allows participants the opportunity to dictate the activities and outings they choose to participate in. Our programs are located in your community and also offer our participants the opportunity to explore their community through recreational outings and volunteer opportunities with neighboring businesses. Participants are able to attend programming Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., on either a full-time or part-time basis. At Easter Seals, we believe in the people that we serve. We believe that we exist to support them in having lives filled with independence, purpose, high self-esteem and a connection to the world around them.
