The average cost of an Adult Day Center is $64.00 per day (as of 2008), but here at Suncrest United Methodist Church we charge $25.00 per Wednesday or $100.00 per month from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. paid up front in the church office. We offer scholarships here at Suncrest. On the other hand. programs that offer extensive care or additional specialized services often cost a bit more. Regardless, the "Respite Rock" Adult Care Program is less expensive than hiring a home health nurse or moving a loved one to a nursing facility. This program is to relieve the caregiver for six hours so that he/she can get some rest, go shopping, or do whatever they need to do in that time period. We know that you want to be able to care for your loved one as long as they need you and taking care of yourself will allow you to do so.
