Hale Hau’oli is a non-residential Hawaii adult day care facility that supports health, nutrition, physical exercise, entertainment and socialization, stimulating both mind and body. For participants who would otherwise stay at home alone, who can no longer manage independently, or who are isolated and lonely, the social stimulation and recreational activities may help improve or maintain physical and cognitive function. At Hale Hau’oli, we give our participants something to look forward to, providing social and recreational activities in a structured environment. For our participants’ caregivers, we provide respite from caregiving responsibilities and the freedom to work or pursue other activities while secure in the knowledge that their loved ones are in the hands of trained, caring professionals. An adult day care center like Hale Hau’oli assists caregivers so they can keep their loved ones in the home community and delay admission to residential long-term care.
